Settings - configuration

The automatic translation of chats can be enabled and disabled by choosing Yes or No from the dropdown below Enable Translator. You can set the general rule that the integration will follow for all groups.

The chosen Visitor Language and Agent Language will apply to all your LiveChat chats. The Visitor Language can be also set to be Automatically Detected. Once it is set the AI will recognize automatically what the visitor language is and translate it.

You have the option to set Automatic chat tagging by the language that was the source language (client language). When the switch is selected, each completed thread will be marked with this tag. This will be very helpful when your agents want to search chats by language.

Another option is Profanity masking, which is used to mask words that are generally considered obscene (unfortunately, this does not work in every language).

The Enabled for bots option allows bots to use our translator. By default, this feature is disabled.

Please remember to click Save at the bottom of the settings after applying any changes.

By clicking + Add Group Mapping you can set different translation settings for different groups. Once the mapping is added you can choose the name of the group the expected Agent Language and the Visitor Language. If a group has its own language mapping set, the general rules do not apply to it.

Each mapping can be deleted by clicking Remove Mapping in its top right corner. Please remember to click Save at the bottom of the settings after applying any changes.
